It's my Mum's birthday today and to celebrate we spent the weekend in Bath. I really like visiting monuments and historical places, not to mention I'm a big Jane Austen fan- mostly thanks to mum watching films and television adaptations a lot when I was younger. We went EVERYWHERE, the Jane Austen Centre (which wasn't really value for money, having been once I probably won't go again) The Roman Baths (Which was incredible! But go early it gets busy quickly! There was a queue around the building by the time we were leaving!)
I liked the Assembly rooms and the fashion museum too. We were lucky the weather was so nice all weekend, the Royal Crescent and the Circus were really pretty in the sunlight.

Will definately have to make a trip down more often as I have so many ideas...it was a very inspiring weekend!

heh, funny story, for some reason i thought you were my roommate for a moment and thought "why would katie be following in jane's footsteps:-o and when did she do this?" but then i realized it wasn't her...and felt rather foolish ^^;. both would probably post something like this though. ^-^ loves the tea cup and the lion head

I like pretty teasets too...my dad collects them, he gave me my 3 favourite from his collection and I like using them in Photos, another set I love is the pink one in 'tea for one, one for tea' sadly I don't drink tea or coffee....I have this weid aversion to hot drinks....but I like looking at them all the same. :D
