I have been making felt plushies as part of my Textiles project...this one is Calcifer from Miyazaki's 'Howl's moving castle' -God I love that movie!! I plan on making a pillow-sized one of these!!!!!

Felt and Toy-Stuffing, all hand sewn

THIS PLUSHIE WILL BE ON SALE FROM THURSDAY 18TH MAY 2006.

A LARGE ONE (ABOUT 6 INCHES) IS £5 AND A SMALL ONE (ABOUT 3 INCHES) IS £3. THEY ARE NOT VERY HEAVY SO POSTAGE SHOULDN'T BE TOO EXPENSIVE BUT IT WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE FINAL COST. I WILL SHIP OUT OF THE UK IF YOU REALLY WANT ONE BUT AGAIN, THE POSTAGE COSTS WILL BE ADDED.

IF YOU THINK THEY ARE A BIT EXPENSIVE LET ME BREAK DOWN MY COSTING FOR YOU....
FELT ISN'T CHEAP MATCHING THREAD SKEINS ARE ABOUT 60P EACH, PROPER SAFETY REGULATION TOY STUFFING IS £2.59 A BAG AND EACH CALCIFER TAKES BETWEEN 45 MINS AND 1.15 HOURS TO MAKE AS IT IS COMPLETELY HAND SEWN.

PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AS I AM A VEWWY POOR STUDENT AND I NEED TO PAY MY FEES. I ALSO TAKE COMISSIONS (PROVIDED I CAN GET THE RIGHT COLOUR MATERIALS ETC.)

But just as a note, Calcifer is also Diana Wynn Jones's character, seeming as she wrote the book, just as a heads up. :D
